While apart of the Collective Architecture + Design Studio Club in USFCA. We particiPATEd in the Terraviva COMPETITIONS FOR a site in Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. Through Adaptive reuse, the competition guideline’s was to revive the old community center that was fully operational in the 80’s. to a vibrant and modern place for local communities and the new youth. My initiative was to introduce the bistro, that serves fresh produce grown in the greenhouse to build a circular economy in the area and provide visitors the best experience while dining in the bistro. My intent of the structure was to combine the geometry of the corner site and make it more inviting. What was once two outhouses stranded on the site have now been joined to create a center for nourishment and source of produce for people in the communtiy.
